The dances are presented in a way to portray to people the beauty and importance of movement and breath.
Yoga is also great for fitness and health. Come and enjoy the dances and movements and maybe you will be inspired to do some too.
Focusing on breath as a powerful tool towards health and energy is essential and one can see it in the dances.
Different items are danced on different days. Costumes will also vary from simple bodysuits that show the body line and muscle movement to flowing saris which flow and move with each movement.

OM. We worship the Three-eyed Lord who is fragrant and who nourishes and nurtures all beings. As is the ripened cucumber (with the intervention of the gardener) is freed from its bondage (to the creeper), may he liberate us from death for the sake of immortality.
In fact, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is a verse from the Rig Veda and is considered to be the most powerful Shiva Mantra. It bestows longevity, wards off calamities and prevents untimely death. It also removes fears and heals holistically.
