A middle-aged man wanting some time out from his crazy world stops for a coffee at a seaside café, only to have his quest for quiet thrown into turmoil when someone brings a cat. This is a show about connecting – with cats, with girlfriends, with family and friends – or not, and with how a young boy taught his father to hug again.
Wilson bonds with his audience through a combination of storytelling and slide presentation in deeply personal tales of experience and reflection.
“I share stories, and I show a few images, about some cats I’ve known, some former girlfriends, my fear of hugging, and how my son taught me to hug again.”
