“A Journey to the Land of Sounds” is a fun and wild musical journey created with the help of interactive animation, which inspires the audience to rethink the definition of music. The audience are invited to board an imaginary magical train, which can travel on and under water, in air, in space, and even in time. The noises, sounds and music are mostly created live by the performer Elias Faingersh with the help of his magical trombone and live loop machines, combined with thumping, clicking, singing, and other sound effects that can be made with the help of the voice and the body. The audience are also invited to create some of the noises or sounds that comprise a specific sound landscape, like the swishing of waves, the rustling of the wind, different animal noises.
