An emotional journey inside the complex mind of a controversial political leader – admired even by Winston Churchill who defined him as “the greatest living legislator”. A man who wanted to become the king of Europe and ended up being its jester.

Written, directed and performed by internationally acclaimed Italian actor, Tom Corradini. Tom is also the founder and director of the FISICO Alba International Physical Theatre Festival.

Funny and poignant.
Just brilliant.

"Tom Corradini had created a portrait of an engaging clown. Vain, overbearing & ridiculous, but also sentimental, frightened & resentful. There's a man underneath the bravado who pops out at the most unusual moments.

Corradini plays with his subject, one minute bellowing at a cowering audience, the next kissing the photo of his sainted mother. This is a caricature with depth reflecting the image of Il Duce as a clown, but he is also a man - comical, belligerent, foolish, intelligent & narcissistic.

An excellent show and a brilliant performance."
