Un spectacle qui détourne, avec ironie et désenchantement, le mythe de la chasse à la baleine. Un marin italien improbable se retrouve pris dans l’obsession du capitaine Achab.
La scénographie, dépouillée et suggestive, fait naître des mondes : cordes, bois et seaux deviennent mer, navire, tempête, laissant place à l’imaginaire du spectateur.
Le titre en donne la mesure : une exclamation de frustration qui accompagne échecs et erreurs, lorsque le destin semble se jouer de nous. La baleine devient alors le symbole de ce qui échappe.
Un spectacle qui surprend et, sous sa légèreté, interroge ce que nous poursuivons dans la vie — et le prix que nous sommes prêts à payer.

A performance that subverts, with irony and disillusionment, the myth of whaling. An unlikely Italian sailor finds himself caught up in Captain Ahab’s obsession. The minimalist yet evocative set design brings worlds to life: ropes, wood and buckets become the sea, the ship, the storm, leaving room for the audience’s imagination. The title sets the tone: an exclamation of frustration that accompanies failures and mistakes, when fate seems to be playing tricks on us. The whale then becomes a symbol of that which eludes us. A show that surprises and, beneath its light-heartedness, questions what we pursue in life — and the price we are willing to pay.
